Laverda Concours 2007
Captain Bourke Park, Kangaroo Point
The Laverda Concours was held on Sunday the fifteenth of July in the usual place under the Story Bridge. The event was blessed with a beautiful sunny winter day, which encouraged riders to bring out some great bikes.
A very large crowd of motorcycle enthusiasts admired some very nicely restored motorcycles, along with some machines that appeared to be used as everyday transport. As usual a lot of the machines in the car park were probably up to the same level as the bikes on display. I believe the reason more bikes are not displayed is the 2pm judging time. The Brisbane HMCCQ had a line up of some twenty five to thirty historic bikes on display. These were not in the competition, but merely there to promote their club.
